Manuka Builds, based in Canterbury, is dedicated to designing and constructing architecturally designed homes that deliver high-performance, low-energy properties. We achieve this through proven design principles, the use of trusted and well-engineered materials, and a continuous improvement mentality.

Collaborating with award-winning architecture firms, we ensure that our designs complement the sites. Our approach leverages natural sunlight, shelters areas from prevailing winds, and focuses on using proven construction materials while embracing forward-thinking construction methods. This combination has resulted in highly effective, seamless builds with lasting results.

Since the Moncks Spur build, we have transitioned from traditional frame and truss construction to the pre-constructed panel method of Potius Panel System using Nelson LVL and two-part spray foam insulation for all floor, wall, and roof panels. This innovative approach results in stronger, straighter, and quieter homes built in a significantly shorter timeframe, yielding a higher-end product. Over the years, we have fine-tuned this build method to complete hill designs in one-third of the time compared to traditional builds, reducing waste, lowering labour costs, and achieving high-end finishes.
